你的信用记录不会跟你过来
你本国的信用记录不会报给美国的信用局，所以你在美国一开始没有信用档案。办一张会上报你还款情况的学生卡或担保卡，是建立档案的常见方法。
没有 SSN？ITIN 是用来报税的
IRS 只把 ITIN 发给需要美国税号、又不能取得 SSN 的人，而且通常要连同报税表一起申请。不要只为了申请信用卡去办 ITIN：如果你没有报税的理由，请问学校的国际学生办公室，你是否有资格申请 SSN。
